How much you need for the unexpected and how many months it will take.
An estimate based on the figures you enter; not financial advice.
MonVault lets you set up your emergency fund as a goal, watch it grow and know each day how much you can spend without touching it.
An emergency fund covers your essential costs (housing, food, utilities, transport) if your income stops or a big expense lands. The less predictable your income, the bigger the cushion you need.
Keep it apart from your everyday account, somewhere risk-free that you can access instantly, such as an easy-access savings account. It is not money to invest in the stock market.
